I'm a big fan of Vienna's completely anonymous public transport

I like TfL a lot, but here I don't even have to tap anything that can be tracked, I can just buy a ticket in cash and I'm done

@embr @nilsding I'd argue London is pretty much the worst place to have any privacy. Most cities in Europe work the same way as Vienna. Like...lots of trains in Berlin don't even have CCTV

@spacekookie @nilsding the systems I'm familiar with are TfL (London), OV-Chipkaart (Netherlands), Västtrafik (Gothenburg) and SL (Stockholm), all of which have the same problem of trackable smartcards, so this is completely new to me
